The nursery has also created an opportunity for Bonsai enthusiasts to visit and view never before seen material on display, source new trees and allied products for sale, as well as create a friendly environment for the promotion of the art of bonsai in South Africa.

It was the dream of Founder and bonsai collector, Clynt Levin, to create a “park” or “bonsai museum” like atmosphere for people to walk through and enjoy, without necessarily feeling the pressure to buy product like they would in most retail spaces today. “I think we have achieved that goal based on the feedback I have received since the opening of our site,” says Clynt.

“Many people walk through our red arch that welcomes each visitor at our entrance and they simply say, WOW!” “And that’s exactly what I wanted to create. The WOW factor every time they entered our space. A relaxed environment where people really got the message of Bonsai and what it meant with me saying a word.”
